    820-2915 Shorted Cap removed, working.

So I got this board with a cap stopping short at C8930- PPVIN_S5_HS_GPU_ISNS I removed it hotter than a firecracker, motherboard boots up and works properly . Should I just leave this off its working with no flaws. I'm wondering if there is something causing the short , don't feel much like tracking if its working well.

    Leave it.
The GPU will stop working sooner than any of the caps will short again

The cap shorted because it was manufactured with some impurities that happened to short it out 8 years later.
Had a few boards that developed a shorted ceramic capacitors by being in normal use.

Replaced them, never had a problem. This is like a car, imagine a customer walking in with a bad wheel bearing. Some drive it for 1 million miles with no bearings to replace, with another customer the bearing goes after 50k miles. Random thing.
